Albert has been crowned the winner! Twelve hopefuls started a journey, but tonight only four remained – Albert, Luke, Jen and Marianne. They walked and they modelled and then you voted to give us the winner of Make Me A Supermodel 2006.
Exactly five weeks and one day ago, six boys and six girls set off on their journey to become a supermodel. After 19 photo shoots, 23 early starts and three live catwalk elimination shows, only four models remained. They competed in the final walk-off to win that lucrative modelling contract with Select and a spread in either Glamour or GQ Magazine.
During the final live catwalk show, the models were whittled down from four to one – the winner. There were three walk-offs and at the end of each, the votes were counted and a model was eliminated. Marianne fell at the first walk; Jen was next to be given her marching orders, leaving a fight between the boys, which Albert finally won.
All of the ex-models were in the audience, along with the winner of last year’s show, Alice Sinclair. As the four finalists took to the stage, they were all brimming with confidence. The theme for the grand finale was ‘Hollywood Glamour’ – bling and all things OTT!
But before the first walk-off kicked off, there was time to see what the models got up to during their last few days in the house. The boys and girls were split up and sent out on a tight casting call around London. They visited top high street fashion labels and while Luke really shone, Jen failed to really impress.
Castings over, back at the house, catwalk trainer Lee Lapthorne gave the models a last minute training session for the looming catwalk elimination final.
And then it was show time, time for walk-off one which was all about the high extravagance of Hollywood glamour. With the girls in full dresses and the boys bare chested in smart suits, they did their thing on the runway. The panel were blown away and had nothing but positive comments for all of the finalists. Albert was told he was fantastic, Jen told she looked great, Luke was told he nailed the catwalk and Marianne was told that she was breathtaking and sensational.
And with the first walk-off over, it was time for the voting lines to be closed and for the first model to be eliminated. Marianne had received the least amount of votes and it was game over for her. She and the panel were shocked, but Rachel Hunter told her that she was a supermodel on the night.
For the remaining three models, the show had to go on. They took to the catwalk once more for walk-off number two. Glam Swim Wear was the theme and the models needed to be sultry, sexy and playful. Albert and Luke seductively stomped their way down the runway in trunks, smart shoes, socks and sunglasses and Jen sexed it up in a silver bikini. They all looked hot and the panel quite rightly noted that fact.
It was time for yet another vote reading and it was Jen who was the second model to be eliminated, leaving it as a boy versus boy final. All smiles, Jen said that she was very proud to be there.
Then it was time for the big one. The final walk-off of the night and the decider as to who would win Make Me A Supermodel 2006.
The third walk-off was all about the futuristic and visual theme. Again bare chested, but in trousers, the boys took it in turns to literally sashay down the runway. They both looked like they were loving every minute of it as they did their thing.
The panel were again blown away and completely impressed with both Albert and Luke and Tandy Anderson even said that she would happily rip the contract with her agency, Select, in half so that both boys could win.
But there could only be one winner and after the votes were counted once more, Albert was crowned the winner.
It was a life changing moment for the surf dude who, six weeks ago, wasn’t even sure if he wanted to stay in the competition. He went from a ‘dead man’ to a dead superman on the catwalk!
Albert was ecstatic and had some kind words to offer runner up Luke, saying that he was ‘the man’. Albert was awarded his prize by panellist and supermodel Rachel Hunter – his portfolio and a contract with Select Model Management. He was then told that he would be doing a shoot for GQ tomorrow before being whisked off to Milan for the shows.
And then all twelve gorgeous models took to the stage to congratulate their winner.
What an incredible journey Make Me A Supermodel has been for all twelve models. During the five weeks, they have been transformed from girls and boys next door to models. And as for Albert, well his whole life is about to be turned upside down as he embarks on his career as a supermodel.
- The Show - Special Feature - Perou - Photographer
-
Perou
He's the cool guy in glasses who leads the Make Me Supermodel Master Classes, making the models hold creepy crawlies, kiss each other, fight each other and dress like vampires to pretend to eat each other. But who exactly is Perou?
Our Panellist Perou is a critically acclaimed, subversive, fashion photographer. He has, and continues to produce beautiful, evocative work from around the clock for clients including Vivienne Westwood, Reebok, and for magazines like FLAUNT, arena, British vogue, blender, the word and 125.
Conformity is statutory these days, but Perou's work still manages to celebrate individualism and his unique perspective. He flies round the world photographing people and throughout his career, his work has mainly involved shooting musicians, actors and models (the beautiful people of the world) for magazines, record companies and advertising agencies.
Perou has come a long way to reach his current position as a professional voyeur. On his journey he has photographed 'everyone' from Marilyn Manson to the Spice Girls, David Beckham to Johnny Vegas. He's a proper rock and roll photographer, but even when he's not photographing our favourite celebrities, he's often out there photographing other interesting individuals living alternative lifestyles and, of course, our beautiful Make Me A Supermodel contestants.
But his involvement in Make Me A Supermodel is not all new, as Perou was an important part of the first series. He likes a project to get stuck right in to and as he had so much fun making series one, he came back for more. This year, Perou had twelve brand new models to work with. But initially, which of them was he most excited about? "Kerrie and Albert equally and I still am," Perou revealed. "Or at least I would be, if Kerrie hadn't been voted out! They both really met my expectations and they are both phenomenal to photograph."
Naturally having a good look is very important, but when it comes to a shoot, the way a person performs can be what separates them from just a model. "Albert photographs the best," Perou said, "but Luke is the most consistent and professional. He puts in the most effort." And it could well be these qualities that have ensured Albert and Luke a place in the grand final.
The 'Master Class' with Perou has become such a big part of the series and a big part of the models' learning curve. Reality Producer of Make Me A Supermodel, Mel Walden, thinks up the themes to the Master Classes and then it's over to Perou to make it personal.
Having involved creepy crawlies and disgusting food, the Master Class really throws the models out of their comfort zone. Perou explained: "The purpose of the Master Class isn't just to teach the models how to go about things. They are also deliberately challenging to test who is putting in the effort and who wants to win. And of course it all amuses me and hopefully the viewing public, along the way!"
How can we forget seeing the models getting dressed as vampires ready to feast on their fellow models, Marianne and Luke? "My favourite shoot was my gothic vampire shoot, of course," Perou said. "Big props, my crew were fabulous and my favourite shot of the whole shoot was the 'Last Supper' group shot."
And in another of his famous Master Classes, even the legendary Perou himself was tested: "I think in the spiders shoot real fears were overcome, mine included! I always said I'd never hold a Tarantula, which I did and I let a Scorpion run around my neck!"
Perou personifies the phrase 'one of a kind' for more ways than one. In his field, he is often copied, but he is certainly never equalled and the models on Make Me A Supermodel are very lucky to experience 'Perou' and his fantastic way of sharing his personal perspective of what's all around us.
For all things Perou, make sure you visit www.perou.co.uk.

Tuesday 14th November, 8:00pm
It’s the final week and there is certainly no letting up for the models. They have been suspended above the Thames for their final photo shoot and put on a catwalk show for a group of fashionistas.
It’s the final week of boys versus girls and only four models remain. With only four hours sleep after a late night, the models were woken at 6.30am for a shoot in the Docklands. The shoot was to be the final shoot before the final showdown on Thursday. So it was the last chance for the models to shine.
The models were aware that the shoot was a big deal, but they had no idea that it couldn’t be more different to the catwalk. They arrived on location and met photographer Lee Jenkins. He informed them that the shoot would involve a crane and the Thames, but the models were still left unsure about what was really in store.
While the models were being styled, panellist Dylan Jones dropped by to see how they were getting on. Luke said it was a shame that Sennait had left and that Jen had been kept in because she had turned into a martyr. Albert agreed that Jen was eclipsing the show with all of her drama.
Styled, the models were by the Millennium Dome and ready for their last shoot of the competition. Albert was the first to take to the sky and he was on stilts! Albert stands at 6’2” without the twenty foot stilts he was asked to wear. He was suspended in the air and worked the camera.
Luke was next up and also suspended, he walked the tight-rope, while inverted. Jen was the next model to face the dizzy heights and she flew threw the air. Marianne was the last and despite her fear of heights, managed to be suspended in the air whilst standing on a swing.
As it was the models’ last shoot, Rachel and Perou turned up. They were still surprised that the public were voting and acting against their advice. The said that they didn’t criticise Jen because of her size, it was because she was out of shape.
With the photo shoot over and with all of the models’ feet firmly on the ground, photographer Lee revealed what he thought about the models. He really liked the guys and said that Jen gave it a lot, but he wasn’t able to predict who would win on Thursday.
After a tough day by the Thames, the models were back at the house and waiting to meet a special guest. Alice Sinclair, the winner of last years show, dropped in to chat to them and they were all very eager to find out what life is like for a model. Alice told them that it was a ‘fickle industry’ and that they needed to keep ‘a level head throughout’.
Alice also told the models that their performance matters right up until the very end of the show, so the models were all left with extra determination to work hard this week.
Following an exhausting photo shoot, the models went to a fancy restaurant with the Panel for some last words of encouragement and some fine dining. As the models celebrated being in the final, Tandy had words for them and as usual, she didn’t mince her words. She said that they were looking for the whole package. She went on to ask Jen what size she would like to be, to which Jen answered ‘a 6-8’. Marianne was told that she needed to sparkle and be louder. Luke was praised for attacking everything thrown at him and Albert was told he was incredibly looking.
When they arrived home, the girls had a shock. They found a card telling them they had 15 minutes to pack their things. While the girls packed, Luke was left feeling equally as distressed, as none of them knew where the girls were going, or when they would all see each other again. But they eventually found out that they were only moving down the corridor to the boys’ bedroom for their remaining nights.
7am the next morning and Albert headed off on a special assignment. He had been chosen to co-present a radio show on Choice FM with presenter Tutu and he was very excited. And while Albert was away rocking the airwaves, back at the house, the other models were barely moving.
Personal Trainer, Gengis, woke the models and gave them one minute to get down to the gym. Luke made it there, but despite there only being two days to go, the girls failed to impress. They finally turned up twenty minutes late and Gengis put them straight to it.
Later, the models were called for a runway rehearsal with catwalk trainer Lee Lapthorne and stylist Karen Binns. They set them their most difficult challenge as they were put through their paces walking on different surfaces, including sand, pebbles and hay.
In addition to that, the models were all given their most difficult attire yet. The boys had to handle ladies’ clothes, very tight jeans and heels, and the girls had tight, restrictive clothing and high heels. The models had to walk the runway, and not look down.
Just as they thought that the practice session was over, Lee dropped a bombshell. They had two hours before they had to perform a live show in front of top people from the fashion industry. The models were told that they would have three outfit changes, and with styling and make-up complete, the models were ready.
The models finished the surprise catwalk show and were all left a bit shell-shocked. But what had the industry people thought of it all? They commented that Marianne was the one who looked most like a supermodel, but she had done awfully on the catwalk. They thought that Albert looked like he wasn’t there, Jen gave it something but she’s not a clothes horse but Luke received good comments and was the winner.
So, with the grand final only two days away, the models know that they still have some work to do.
Don’t forget, with only four models left and the grand final on Thursday, you are now voting for the model you want to WIN.

Sunday 12th November, 8:00pm
Another two models leave the competition after the live catwalk elimination show and the remaining four get frightened down a rat infested pit.
It was another elimination Friday and after a late night’s drinking, most of the models struggled to get out of bed. That night, Jen, Sennait, Waz and Luke would be taking part in the last elimination live show and they would be finding out which of them would be leaving.
The four nominated models packed and faced the possibility that they might not be returning to the house and with their bags packed, said their goodbyes to the only two safe models, Albert and Marianne. They made their way to meet catwalk producer Lee Lapthorne for their final catwalk training and Lee had some stern words for them. He told them that they need to be ‘larger than life’ because the live show would ‘make or break’ them.
Despite Lee’s words, it was 17 year old Waz who was first to lapse in concentration and Lee was finally forced to complain that those four were the worst four to be nominated yet.
But as Sennait and the other models struggled on the catwalk, Albert and Marianne were still in the house and were receiving a big pampering. Marianne revealed that she hoped Luke and Sennait would be returning while Albert said that he thought it would be Waz and Jen.
Backstage in the studio, the models were busy getting made up in country style, but there was just time for some last minute advice from Lee Lapthorne. He told them they needed to give more passion and own the catwalk. Following a long day of rehearsals and advice, it was finally time for the curtain to go up for the live show.
In the first walk-off they were country clad models and had to strike a pose while making tweed look good. Next up, the models hit the catwalk in Rural Couture and then it was time for the final challenge. They had to tame the beast as they saddled up on the catwalk and mounted a rocking horse.
Finally, it was time for the models to find out the result of the public vote. Luke and Jen were safe and guaranteed a place in the grand final. Backstage, the excitement was through the roof, although eliminated models Waz and Sennait were left disappointed.
Back in the house, Albert and Marianne were left in the dark about the results until Luke burst through the doors. They met him with cheers and hugs and then it was time for one last surprise as Jen entered the room. And with the four finalists reunited for the evening, it was time for them to crack open the bubbly. Later, Marianne confessed that it was hard for her to face Jen in the final as she felt that Jen was playing for ‘sympathy votes’.
The morning after the eliminations and the remaining models had an early start and made their way to their first assignment of the day. As they approached a spooky forest location, they met their photographer for the shoot, the famous Jochen Braun. He had something scary in a pit in store for the models and the idea of the shoot was to capture them as they desperately tried to get away. It was a demanding and challenging situation and Jochen said that every professional model would struggle.
The models were taken to be styled in their rock clothes, but before they were let loose in the pit, some finishing touches were added in the form of rats and spiders. Not knowing what she was letting herself in for; Marianne made her way in to the forest. After a screaming performance, it was time for Luke to go down to the woods, followed by Jen and Albert.
On the way back from her shoot, Jen was met by Devon Parsons. He questioned her about the comments she received from the panel about her weight and Jen responded by storming off. Later, safe from the rats, the models headed home. And on the way, Jen came clean that she didn’t always put in 110 percent when it came to her weight.
They arrived home and found out that another surprise was in store. They met top Entertainment Publicist, Julian Payne. As it’s down to the last four models now, it’s time to get serious, so Julian gave the models a media savvy test, with the help of Reveal Magazine’s Julia Lawrence.
Julia carried out individual interviews with the models while Julian watched. Luke was told he was a bit bland, Marianne was informed that her interview was ‘car crash’ after saying that thin people look better in clothes, Albert was told he did well, but Jen was the best of the lot – slick, safe and professional.
Having learnt the art of publicity, the models headed across town to a swanky charity event. Upon arrival, the models had to put their training in to practice as they faced the waiting press and then the photo call.
After an enjoyable night, the models headed home where Luke and Marianne found some alone time to have a serious conversation, about auras!
Don’t forget, with only four models left and the grand final on Thursday, you are now voting for the model you want to WIN.
The model with the most votes during the final, will win Make Me A Supermodel 2 and that all important contract with Select Model Management. So, who do you want to win? Make sure you vote for your favourite.

Friday 10th November, 8:30pm
We have our final four for the final. Tonight, you voted to save Luke and Jen and they will now be joining models Albert and Marianne for the grand final of Make Me A Supermodel 2 next week.
After being nominated by the panel, Luke, Waz, Jen and Sennait were all forced to fight it and go head to head in the live catwalk elimination show, for those final two places in the final.
The tension was mounting; the atmosphere in the live studio was electric. With the final so close, the models were desperate to get a nose ahead. Panellist Tandy said that that tonight, the panel were looking for that ‘extra bit’.
The four nominated models took to the runway, as always in black cloaks to keep their first outfits under wraps. Despite a very dramatic week, model Jen was feeling confident, as was Luke who vowed he was going to smash the catwalk. Walk-off first timer Sennait said he wanted to prove she was worth keeping while Waz admitted he was nervous, but had to be confident to pull it off.
And then it was time for the walk-offs to begin. The theme this week was ‘The Country’, which incorporated knit wear, tweed, tartan and lots of choreography.
Walk off one was knits, wools and tweeds and the models had to maintain a posh demeanour on the runway, while having an under-layer of naughtiness. With glasses, and canes, the Sherlock Holmes-esque models took to the catwalk. The panel were very pleased with Luke’s performance with Rachel telling him he ‘was on fire’ and Sennait was also told that ‘she belonged up there’. Jen was told that she wasn’t ‘a catwalk model’ and Waz received the news that ‘something was missing’ and he ‘modelled too much’.
Before walk-off number two, it was time for a quick look over the events in the model house yesterday. It was time for the final Master Class from Perou and the theme was ‘Model Fight-Club.’ Back in their trusty unitards, the models had to take each other out. Sennait took the task very literally and gave Waz a big slap around the chops, but the task produced some great shots.
And then it was time for Performance Coach, Kate Marlowe to return to the house. She had heard that the models had been under performing on the catwalk so she was there to sort them out. She helped them with some red carpet poses and then focused on Waz. She couldn’t believe that he was unable to stand still, so as a lesson to help him relax, she made he run a cold bath to get in and be still. He rose to the challenge and took a dunk. Luke took the opportunity to talk to Kate about his feelings for fellow model Marianne. He admitted that he feels it hard to commit himself emotionally, but that he was falling for Marianne, hard. Kate advised him to tell Marianne so that’s what he did. But he didn’t get quite the reaction he’d hoped for. Marianne gave him a kiss and basically the brush off.
Back to the live catwalk elimination and it was time for walk-off number two. This was based on the Lord and Lady of the Manor. As snobby aristocrats, who had sipped one too many Sherries, the models had to stay in role and own the catwalk.
The models did their thing on the runway, with the girls in elaborate pheasant feather hats and Luke in a kilt! Jen and Waz were a couple and Jen performed some raunchy dance moves on her man. Next up, it was Luke and Sennait and they got equally as hot together on the catwalk.
Jen was told that her walk was ‘wooden’ and that she is ‘great from the waist up’. Waz was told to lose the snarl, Luke had unanimous fantastic comments and Sennait was told that she was ‘beautiful’ and did it ‘perfectly’.
With so much to play for, a place in the final, the competition was serious. But there was still time for some horsing around as the third and final walk-off incorporated the top style of the season, ‘Go Equestrian’. With the boys in riding jackets, boots, hats and pants, they made their way down the runway with their whips. The girls were in sexy stockings and suspenders and jackets and all four models had a rocking horse to deal with at the end of the runway. The girls caressed the horse seductively, while the boys mounted it and gave it a whipping.
Sennait was a hit with the judges and was told that she was ‘what modelling is about’. They were pleased that Waz had managed a smile instead of his usual snarl and they revealed that Jen would never make a catwalk model.
So with all three walk-offs complete it was time to get the results of who will be joining Albert and Marianne for the final. It was real nail biting stuff in the studio as friends Luke and Waz made their way to hear the verdict. Luke topped the votes and maintained his place in the competition and the house. He was ecstatic at the result. Panellist Tandy had positive words for loser Waz though, as she said he had real potential.
Then it was time for the girls, Jen and Sennait – who would win a place in the final? For a second week in a row, Jen survived the public vote, knocking Sennait out of the competition.
While Jen made her way back in to the house, Tandy told Sennait to keep trying, because she is going to be a supermodel.
With the final catwalk elimination over, we now have our four finalists for the Make Me A Supermodel 2 final next Thursday. You now need to vote for who you want to WIN the competition.
The model with the most votes during the final, will win Make Me A Supermodel 2 and that all important contract with Select Model Management. So, who do you want to win? Make sure you vote for your favourite.

- The Show - Special Feature - Karen Binns - Stylist
-
Karen Binns
Straight talking, sassy New Yorker Karen Binns has featured heavily in this year’s Make Me A Supermodel, as one of our amazing stylists. She’s in tune with the underworld of fashion and has given the models looks they never thought they could achieve.
Karen truly is one of the industry's most creative and talented stylists. She’s been a stylist to the stars for a whopping fifteen years and has worked with some of the biggest names in showbiz, including the beautiful Hollywood actress Rachel Weisz and singing sensation Tori Amos. And now our models are lucky enough to work with her.
After appearing on the first series of Make Me A Supermodel as the stylist on the New York shoot, Karen was an obvious choice to be a member of the stylist team for this series. “We loved her creative vision and she really pushed the boundaries of the clothes,” a show producer explained. “Karen is a great personality to have on a shoot. She truly engaged with the girls last series, so when it came to this series, she was the first choice to style our shoots and to actually have a bigger role as the show’s main stylist.”
Fashion helps to shape the way we express ourselves, who we are and what makes us different. So, being a fashion stylist can be one of the most challenging and exciting careers in the fashion industry, and to become a stylist you must have a true passion for fashion and be on top of the game when it comes to trends. And that is exactly why Karen Binns is so successful. She was a club kid from New York with a great, individual look. And the way she simply oozed style is what brought her work that she didn’t even know she was looking for.
Since getting involved with the show, Karen has really pushed the Make Me A Supermodel contestants. They respect and trust her and whatever challenge the producers have thrown at her, she has managed to come up with visual clothes that look fantastic on television. She styled the boys to give them an incredibly sexy look in their ‘Spoilt, Rich Boys’ shoot, she styled the ‘Anti-Knife Campaign’ advert, she was behind the amazing shoot in Iceland and she works very closely with fabulous catwalk trainer, Lee Lapthorne, to produce the spectacular live catwalk elimination shows.
A show producer said: “Karen has high fashion contacts as well as being very in touch with young, innovative designers so she has been able to really deliver in our live shows. She has come up with all of the themes and has created some incredible shows.”
On a fashion shoot, a stylist’s role is critical to the success of the shoot. So when Karen is styling one of our shoots, she sources all of the clothes and accessories, gets them to the location, decides which look will be best for which model and then dresses them. It’s a tough and demanding job, but on the shoots that Karen has been involved in, she hasn’t failed to make our models look amazing.
She once said that she likes working with real people so that she can give them the confidence that they did not know they had. And that is certainly true when it comes to our twelve models. She has played a massive part in their transformation from girls and boys next door, to potential supermodels.
There is never a dull moment when it comes to Karen’s styling, that’s for sure. She has been a real asset to the series and an inspiration to all of our wardrobes!

- The Show - 15 - Cold As Ice
-
Thursday 9th November, 8:00pm
With no medical reason to explain her collapse, Jen is forced to admit that she went a step to far. And when she finally joined her fellow models in Iceland it wasn’t just the temperature that was chilly, her reception wasn’t that warm either.
Last time, as the models left the Panel room after hearing this week’s nominations, Jen collapsed. And while she had to remain at home to see a doctor, the other five models made their way to the airport ahead of their trip to Iceland.
With Waz, Luke, Jen and Senniat all being up for elimination, Albert and Marianne are guaranteed a place in the grand final. Their sprits were high, but best mates and strong competitors, Luke and Waz, couldn’t put the nomination results behind them. Waz moaned that the panel’s reasons for nominating him were ‘lame’, while first time nominee, Sennait, had her own theory. She believed she had been nominated as some kind of endurance test so she could prove to the panel she was worth keeping.
As the models got closer to the airport and to their Icelandic shoot, model Jen was off to see a doctor. But she was more concerned about missing out on a major shoot so close to another elimination. The news from the doctor was good, no medical reason for Jen’s collapse was found but still she was left to wait to see if she would join the other models in Iceland.
The models arrived at the airport and were met by Panellist Perou. They were all very excited, but Perou was quick to remind them that the shoot would involve hard work in extreme conditions. Later, the models touched down in Iceland and made their way to their hotel. But Jen’s absence was still the main topic of conversation and Waz wasn’t alone in thinking that her behaviour was a ‘bit suspect’.
And back in London, a home alone Jen is forced to question her earlier behaviour. She admitted to scaring herself with the extremes she would go to win and regretted the attention she had brought to herself.
6.30am the following morning, and after only a few hours sleep, the models in Iceland were on their way to their first sub-zero shoot. They arrived on location and were met by the world class photographer, Marc Baptiste. With only four hours of daylight to play with, Marc and the models had to work fast, which was a bit of a challenge considering it was -10 degrees.
Karen Binns styled the shoot, dressing the models in swimwear. Just what the models had hoped for in such freezing conditions. The shoot took place on top of a glacier, where the temperature was a chilly -15 degrees. Dressed in only Speedos, Luke was first up for the shoot. Photographer Marc was really impressed and said that Luke nailed it in his first two shots.
Albert was next up, but he didn’t warm to Marc’s direction. He was on the verge of breakdown due to the cold, but managed to pull though and Perou, for one, was happy to see some of Albert’s anger. Waz turned out to brave the cold and then it was time for the girls. Sennait stepped up to the glacier and she performed so well, Marc pushed her further and even had her laying on the ice. And Ice maiden Marianne, stayed out in the cold longer than everyone else, because she was being incredibly professional about her shoot. Finally, all of the models were finished, but Marc wasn’t happy with Waz’s shots. So with only ten minutes of daylight left, Waz had to get back out on the glacier.
After being given the all clear, model Jen was on her way to Iceland to join the other models. And with them all finally thawed out after the shoot, the models headed to a restaurant in Reykjavik with Perou, and were surprised to see Jen waiting for them.
Following her mysterious collapse, Jen tried to explain what happened and blamed it on a lack of food, but Marianne later revealed that she had seen Jen eating loads. And while Jen was pleased that the models were happy to see her, behind her back they weren’t actually that happy. But regardless of the Jen issue, after dinner the models headed to a local bar for a drink or three.
In London, Panellists Rachel and Tandy made a call to Perou in Iceland to see how the models had performed. Perou reported that Sennait had been amazing, there was fire behind Albert’s eyes and then they all agreed that Jen had been acting when she collapsed.
With their trip almost over, the models just had time to relax in Iceland’s famous herbal bath. With the girls and Waz in bikinis and the boys in Speedos, they all took a dip. Still Jen’s absence was on everyone’s minds and just when she had started to become a member of the group again, she disappeared. As Perou and the models made a toast, they noticed Jen wasn’t there. She had got dressed and was enjoying a cigarette and a coffee on her own.
After less than 48 hours in Iceland, the models were back in London. As a reward for a successful shoot, they were given a treat – booze. After a fair amount had been consumed, the models found another surprise. They had letters from home and as they tried to read them, it wasn’t just the girls who were crying like a girl. Following Marianne’s tears, Luke soon began to blub. But Marianne soon cheered him up by climbing in to bed with him for the night!
Four models are facing the live walk off tomorrow, but only two will join Albert and Marianne in the grand final. Who do you think should stay in the model house? Jen, Sennait, Luke or Waz? Get voting to save your favourite.

- The Show - 14 - Stripped Down
-
Tuesday 7th November, 8:00pm
It’s down to the last six; only two are guaranteed a place in the final while the remaining four will battle it out in Friday’s live catwalk show. The Panel have spoken and the four models nominated this week are Jen, Sennait, Luke and Waz.
The twenty-sixth day in the Make Me A Supermodel house and the six remaining models were woken early and taken off to their first assignment of the day. After Jen’s recent behaviour, some of her fellow models still weren’t feeling particularly generous towards her. On the journey to their location Luke moaned that Jen didn’t put in one hundred percent, while Marianne said that Jen is a very competitive game player.
But there was no time to dwell on the fractures among them as top photographer, Elizabeth Hoff, was ready and waiting to do a shoot. The theme was inspired from the sexiest dance in the world, the Tango, and would be all about passion, energy and sexiness.
Before the shoot, the models were coupled up and then they slipped on their dancing shoes ahead of a dancing lesson with leading choreographer Bianca Vrcan. Luke and Marianne were again a pair, Albert and Sennait joined up and Waz and Jen formed the third couple. It goes without saying that some of the models were happier than others about their partners.
With a dancing demo from Bianca over, it was time for the models to hit the floor. Marianne and Luke really shone, they looked good together and there was energy between them. But Waz and Jen, were not looking so good.
Crash course in the Tango over, it was time to be styled in 50s glamour by stylist Marcella Martinelli. Albert and Sennait were first up and Albert was incredibly proud of their shots. The confidence he was exuding only made Luke want to do even better. He and Marianne have become exceedingly close, but could the couple’s chemistry translate on to camera? Yes was the answer as the pair produced a sizzling shoot.
Waz and Jen managed to set aside their differences on the dance floor, but not for long as they were soon starting to get on each other’s nerves. But they managed to get a good shot in the end.
During the shoot, panellists Tandy and Dylan dropped by to see how things were going and also to drop some incredible news. Tandy announced that Albert and Sennait had been chosen to attend the film premiere of Prestige. Albert and Sennait were ecstatic, but there was no time to get too excited as they were whisked off straight away.
With the shoot finally over, the four models headed home while Albert and Sennait headed across town to the glitzy premiere. It was to be their first taste of the celebrity lifestyle and they were greeted by the paparazzi and had to give interviews. They also got to rub shoulders with big names such as Michael Caine, Scarlett Johansson and Hugh Jackman.
While they enjoyed the glamour of the premiere, at home the other models enjoyed the contents of a dressing up box. And when Albert and Sennait eventually returned home, they couldn’t wait to drop a few well known names in to the conversation.
Following the excitement of the previous night, the models were once again up early and on their way to their most prestigious shoot yet. They arrived on location and were met by mentor Sarah Leon who told them the shoot would be their most important so far as it was with original cult designer John Richmond. He is the first photographer the models have worked with who does an international campaign and show, so it was serious business for them. The models were incredibly excited to be working with one of ‘the’ top designers of the last twenty years.
With no time to lose, the models were off to make-up to receive a rock ‘n’ roll refit, John Richmond style. The idea of the shoot was to be stripped down so that the models could project themselves. Jen shared her concerns about not wearing very much, but John was on hand to offer an alternative outfit. While the boys had bare chests and jeans and the other two girls had only jeans and bras, Jen was given jeans and a waistcoat.
Backstage, Sarah Leon got up to date with the models’ measurements. To her horror, Jen had gained weight around both her waist and hips, but the other models all measured up well.
The shoot went really well and after some group and solo shots, it was wrapped up. John Richmond commented that all three boys worked well and that Marianne was the strongest girl.
Following the success of the shoot the models headed back to the house, while the panel convened to discuss this week’s nominations. With only six models remaining, out of the four models nominated this week, two would make it to the grand final while the other two would be sent home.
After gaining three inches around her waist and two on her hips, the panel thought that Jen hadn’t worked hard enough and nominated her. Sennait was also up for not standing out. Luke was punished for looking a bit soft in some of his shots and Waz was told he lets his personal feelings get in the way.
So, Jen, Sennait, Luke and Waz will be facing the public vote this week. The pressure all became a bit too much for Jen though as she collapsed on leaving the panel room and had to be taken to bed.
After twenty minutes, Jen had recovered enough to join the rest of the models though for a special announcement from Dylan Jones. He told the models that they were going on a trip to Iceland for their most difficult assignment yet. But while the others celebrated, Jen was left feeling lower as she would not be going due to illness.
And so the five models headed off to Iceland, leaving model Jen home alone.
Jen, Sennait, Luke and Waz are all desperate for a place in the grand final. They have the rest of the week to prove themselves to you as you have the power to save your favourite model and give them a ticket to the final.

- The Show - 13 - A Weight On Their Mind
-
Sunday 5th November, 8:00pm
After surviving elimination on Friday, Jen wasn’t sure whether she wanted to walk out anyway and now she is most definitely not popular with her fellow models.
The night before the second live catwalk elimination show and ‘good friends’ Luke and Marianne found a way to escape the tension in the house. After chatting in the boys’ bedroom, Marianne got in to bed with Luke and slept the night with him. But she had gone by morning leaving Luke to explain that it was cold and they were doing it for survival purposes.
The four nominees, Anya, Jen, Albert and Josh were feeling philosophical about leaving. Anya revealed that if she was meant to go, she would go and Jen admitted that she was anxious. But after the night before when the models had been taken out by Rachel Hunter and asked to confess their true feelings for each other, there was still some bad feeling lingering around in the house. Jen said she had lost respect for Waz and Luke for criticising her and even the following morning at breakfast, the conversation returned to what had been said. It was left to Albert to put an end to it, but saying that everything had been said.
So, it was the morning of the live elimination show and after the breakfast mini-fallout, it was time for catwalk producer, Lee Lapthorne, to give the nominated models some last minute training. After saying their potential goodbyes, the models went off to rehearse as fashion vamps. The live catwalk show would involve seduction, twins and live piglets. The models were all a bit concerned about the live piglets, but producer Lee was more concerned about their lack of energy and sexiness.
The models met the piglets and managed to get to grips with them, but it wasn’t long before they were faced with another problem. Albert and Josh found out that in one of the walk-offs they would be wearing a tiny leather G-string. They both had serious reservations, but Albert decided to bite the bullet and tried it on. Josh wasn’t inspired by Albert and went to try his on in private and later decided to give it a miss and just wear his Y-Fronts. Lee Lapthorne and stylist Karen Binns were not impressed and pointed out that if a professional model refused to wear something, they would be kicked off a show.
Meanwhile, upstairs in the house, the safe models were speculating about the outcome of the elimination while they received some serious pampering in the spa. The general consensus was that Jen would leave due to her weight issue.
8.30pm and time for the moment of truth for the wannabe supermodels. After competing in their gothic themed walk-offs, the public votes were counted and Albert and Jen were safe, meaning Josh and Anya were out of the competition.
Although she survived the elimination, Jen was upset by the Panels criticism and decided that she didn’t want to go back in to the house. And while she contemplated whether or not she wanted to continue in the competition, her fellow models discussed the elimination result and were all confused that Jen had stayed over Anya.
Albert later rejoined his fellow models to celebrate with some champagne and despite her earlier doubts about staying, Jen decided to rejoin the house. She explained to the models about how she was feeling and they offered her some words of encouragement.
But while Jen unpacked her things, the other models continued to talk about her in to the early hours. Marianne and Luke decided that she was just playing a game.
The morning after the eliminations and as the remaining models woke up and they were in a reflective mood after clocking the empty beds. However, Jen was less happy to be in the house, but decided she had to make the most of it as the public had voted to keep her in.
8.30am and the models made their way to their first assignment of the day. This week all of their tasks will be based on movement, so it was time to kick things off. The models arrived at the London School of Economics and walked up to the roof to meet photographer Jonathan Glynn-Smith and to prepare for their shoot.
Jumping on a trampoline, the models would be shot to give the illusion that they were jumping from buildings. But again Jen wasn’t happy, and revealed that she is petrified of heights.
At 1pm, after spending the day preparing for the roof top shoot, Rachel Hunter arrived to check up on Jen and to see how she was feeling after her elimination survival. Jen confessed that sometimes the truth hurts and Rachel replied that she had once been over weight too and told to lose weight.
With the models prepped and ready, it was then time for the shoot to begin. The photographer said that Albert had got ‘something a little special about him’, but all of the models did really well. Apart from Jen, who was still complaining. She wasn’t sure if she would be able to go through with the shoot, but not all of her fellow models were sympathetic towards her and saw it as just more of her attention seeking. Marianne was also struggling with her own fear of heights, but both her and Jen finally went through with the shoot.
Back at the house, the models enjoyed a bonfire but talk soon turned to who could win the competition. Most of the models see Marianne as a big threat and even the Swede herself thinks she can do it.

- The Show - 12 - Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang
-
Friday 3rd November, 8:30pm
Two more models are out. The Vampire’s Ball is over and you have decided that Anya and Josh cannot be made in to supermodels.
In the second live catwalk elimination show, Albert, Josh, Anya and Jen gave it their all in a challenging, gothic themed show. But you voted to keep Albert and Jen in the house and in the Make Me A Supermodel competition, meaning Anya and Josh were booted back to reality.
After being nominated by the panel earlier in the week, it was time for the four models to go head to head on the catwalk. Overseeing the proceedings, as usual, were panellists Rachel, Perou, Tandy and Dylan Jones. Supermodel Rachel Hunter said: “The models have been feeling a lot of pressure this week…they need to prove they are the perfect package.”
So, it was time for the models to prove they were the perfect package and for the walk-offs to begin. The models took to the stage in black cloaks to keep their gothic costumes under wraps. For Anya, it was her second time in consecutive weeks to face the public vote, while for the others; it was their first time to experience the elimination catwalk.
This week the models had to pair up and pucker up for another of Perou’s shoots. The models’ week has been based on intimacy and attraction and their latest shoot kept with the theme. In pairs, the models had to work very closely together for the purpose of an advert, and very closely it was indeed as the models had to snog for the camera. Jen and Waz got intimate, Marianne and Albert got steamy, as an unhappy Luke looked on, Josh locked lips with Sennait and then Luke almost chewed Anya’s mouth off.
But whether they enjoyed it or not, it was good training for the nominated models, as walk off number one involved kissing and sexy role play. It was inspired by the famous black widow spider, which kills and eats the male after mating. Fierce. So, the models were really going to be put to the test in this vicious, but intimate catwalk.
With gothic black wigs, the first pair took to the runway. Dressed in skimpy black pants and an open cloak, Josh made his way down the catwalk to sit in a chair. A skimpily dressed Anya followed closely behind him. In an all in one, thong, underwear set, she kissed and caressed Josh. Next up was Albert and Jen to perform the same routine. Albert went all out and wore only a tiny thong – which certainly managed to get Fearne’s heart racing!
The panel all agreed that Albert and Anya were amazing in walk-off one, Jen’s weight problems meant that the outfit didn’t do her any favours and that Josh gave it his best. But with two more walk-offs to go, there was all to play for.
The second walk-off was based on the vampires in the popular film ‘The Lost Boys’. It was about filtering the Goth look in to street wear and as if that wasn’t a test enough, each model would be walking twin children down the runway.
After taking in turns to walk mini-Goths down the catwalk with them, again it was time for the panel to comment. Albert and Anya received great comments once more, while Jen and Josh again got a mediocre reception.
Then it was time for the final catwalk of the night, the decider. It was all about couture and a Vampire’s Ball. But this time the models didn’t have children to contend with, they had live, squealing piglets to carry. Couture is the epitome of fashion, it’s difficult to wear and often uncomfortable. Add a live piglet in to the mix and they models have got one tricky catwalk.
But once again, the models were professional and gave a great performance. The girls looked like real gothic beauties in their couture dresses, while the boys looked all out sexy in their dark outfits.
With the final walk-off of the night over, and after the four nominated models had been put well and truly through their paces. It was time for the gothic nightmare to become a reality and for one boy and one girl to be eliminated. You voted to eliminate Josh and Anya, meaning Albert and Jen were safe to rejoin their fellow models and the competition.
Josh was visibly saddened to be leaving the competition, but said he would continue with his dream to become a supermodel. Jen was left speechless when the verdict came that she had beaten Anya. She was overwhelmed, while Anya admitted that she was looking forward to getting home to her baby.
So, another two models are out. Now only six remain out of the original twelve. But remember, their can only be one winner. Make sure you stay tuned to Make Me A Supermodel.

- The Show - Special Feature - Alice Sinclair - Winner Of 2005
-
Thursday 26th October
Alice Sinclair, the winner of our first series, has had a truly incredible year. Make Me A Super Model really is a big deal and there’s a lot at stake for the winner.
Whoever wins the competition this year, and that much coveted prize of a contract with top modelling agency, Select, is destined to have an amazing start to their career. In the year since she became winner, Alice has already had a very successful run. She’s appeared in a campaign for Tressadi, the Itallian version of Burberry, done a shoot for British Vogue and she’s even been on the cover of Dutch ‘Marie Claire’,
After her transformation in to supermodel, it’s hard to think that last year stunning Alice was just a normal school girl from Pinner. That was until Make Me A Supermodel got hold of her and changed her life. After beating the bookies’ favourites Kate Ellery and Joanna Downes, to take the crown, she wisely decided to put her studies on hold and see where the modelling world could take her.
She was all set to take up a place studying development geography at the London School of Economics last September, but after winning the show, she took up a place as a supermodel and was whisked away for her first shoot in the Maldives. And with such an impressive portfolio under her belt, clearly she hasn’t looked back. At the time of winning, Alice said: "I'm ecstatic. It just hasn't sunk in yet - I keep expecting the judges to turn around and say, 'Sorry, we made a mistake, you haven't really won'." She added, "I've always been a bit gangly and a bit weird looking, and a few people had said to be, 'You should try modelling'. And it’s a good job she did, as Alice’s edgy looks, slender figure and quirky personality were a massive hit with the judges. International model and panelist Rachel Hunter said: “There’s so much mystery about Alice, she has a lot of presence. That’s what makes her special. We can definitely make her a supermodel.”
This year both boys and girls are competing to be made a supermodel and follow in Alice’s runway steps. They too will secure a contract potentially worth millions and a ticket to supermodel stardom. But who can cut it? Which of the twelve models will impress the panel of industry experts and you at home? With so much at stake, the models have to give it their all if they want to reach the ultimate goal of becoming the UK’s next supermodel.

- The Show - 11 - From Paris With Love
-
Thursday 2nd November, 10:00pm
While Waz, Luke and Marianne head off to Paris to live the model life, the remaining models were forced to do a hard day’s work at Select.
After the shock of the nominations the models tried to relax, but their relaxation was short lived as Tandy turned up with some news. The ‘safe’ models would be packing their bags and making their way to the fashion capital – Paris. But unfortunately for Sennait, due to visa issues she was going to have to remain in London and spend a day working at Tandy’s agency Select with the other models.
At 6am the following morning, Waz, Marianne and Luke are awake and looking forward to their trip to the French capital, leaving the remaining five models to speculate about their day ahead at Select. With the travelling models on the Eurostar, they had more than just modelling on their minds. Waz made it clear that he was not prepared to play gooseberry to Luke and Marianne. But after more denials from the love birds, all three models decided that they were going to have their work cut out for them in Paris.
They stepped off the train and were met in Paris by their official welcoming committee, Devon and Sarah. It was to be their first foray in to the world of international modelling and in order to gain international success; any model must make it in Paris. So first stop for Marianne was top female agency, Marilyn. Marianne was a hit, with the chief of Marilyn admitting that Marianne could work now and with her look being so strong, many of the top houses would be interested in meeting her. So far so good for Marianne, but could the boys do as well?
They were about to find out, as on the other side of town, the boys arrived at the New Madison agency. After meeting the director, the boys were introduced to some guys from ‘Soon’ magazine, the top selling fashion magazine in Paris. They liked our models looks, but felt that at the moment, they only had one look.
Back in London, the other five were busy working away at Select, with Tandy on hand to crack the whip. It was their first time to see the incredibly high standards they are expected to reach and all of them were keen to work harder to reach those modelling heights. After spending a long day, updating books and doing coffee runs, the models were rewarded with some wages to spend in the pub. And while they headed off down the local boozer, across the channel their fellow models were discovering their impressive digs before being taken to a top Parisian restaurant. They were getting to understand what it is to be a supermodel – travel, good hotels and fancy restaurants. Meal over, it was VIP treatment all the way for them as they headed of to a nightclub, while back in London, the other models settled down for a Halloween slumber party.
In Paris, after dancing the night away, and after Marianne received a great deal of attention, the models finally got to bed at 4am. Luke ended up sharing a bed, but it was with Waz, not Marianne. The Swede revealed that Luke had tried to kiss her, but she wasn’t interested. Still bleary eyed, the models in Paris arrive for a shoot with a top Parisian photographer. Marianne did a good shoot, but again the boys were called up for having only one look. Shoot over, Waz, Luke and Marianne used their remaining time in Paris to take in some of the sights, before heading back to London.
There was no rest for the wicked, as the five other models were hitting the streets of London as Select talent scouts. And later, with all the models back at the house, the returning models enjoyed a mezze meal prepared from them by Jen, Anya, Sennait, Albert and Josh as they told tales of Paris. But it wasn’t long before thoughts turned to the looming elimination.
Albert, Josh, Jen and Anya have been nominated and one boy and one girl will be leaving the competition tomorrow night in the live catwalk elimination show. You can vote to SAVE your favourite.

- The Show - 10 - In Search Of The Complete Package
-
Tuesday 31st October, 8:00pm
Albert, Jen, Anya and Josh find out that they have been nominated and will face elimination on Friday.
It was yet another early start for the models, as they made their way to their first assignment of the day. A gap in the group is starting to develop, after the departure of James and Kerrie, but the speculation about what is happening between Luke and Marianne is still going strong, but the consensus was that Marianne and Luke were ‘getting on’ to stay in the competition.
The models arrive at their location, Charter House, a gothic house in the outskirts of London and Perou and top make-up artist Georgina Graham were waiting ready to prepare the models for a Gothic inspired shoot with a Halloween theme. The shot would be based around a gothic feast, with six vampires feasting around a big table. And while the other models were dressed in period clothing, Marianne and Luke were stripped down, as to their surprise, they were about to become the centre part of the shoot – the feast.
Wearing only flesh coloured skimpy underwear, Marianne and Luke took their places on the table while their fanged friends gathered around to once again discuss their relationship. That was until panellist Tandy showed up to give them some feedback. Waz was told that walking wasn’t his forte and Sennait, who has been spending more time away from the group, got told to just be herself.
Tandy’s chat over and with Marianne and Luke still laid out on the table ready to be devoured, the vampires made their way to the set to put their teeth in to the feast. It was a real high fashion shoot so it was important that the models worked hard. Luke was excellent, Sennait was amazing, Josh struggled and Perou said Marianne was a corpse as usual.
But corpse or not, as a special reward for spending the whole day nearly naked, possible love birds Luke and Marianne were treated to a night out. They arrived at St.Katherine’s Dock to dine at a special, romantic, floating restaurant. On board, Luke was keen for Marianne to make her feelings clear, but she wasn’t giving much away. And when they returned home from dinner, the boys were also keen to find out what was going on. But did Luke manage to melt the Nordic ice queen’s heart? Marianne gave nothing away.
With nomination day looming, model Jen revealed that she feared her time had come, because she doesn’t fall in to the supermodel bracket. But as the day of reckoning arrived and with only eight models remaining, all of them knew that there was a fifty, fifty chance of being nominated.
But there was one more assignment to complete before they would receive the nomination verdict. The models were taken to the world’s longest surviving Music Hall for an acting session with Jeremy Stockwell. After receiving a lesson in eye contact, the models put their newly learnt skills to the test, by acting out a scene in pairs and the boys also got to woo the girls by reciting a poem to them.
It’s been three weeks since the models started training and it was time again for the panel to convene to discuss who should face the public vote. The models were then summoned and were told that this week, the panel are looking for the complete package. And with that in mind, Josh, Albert, Jen and Anya were told the news that the panel didn’t think that they could make them supermodels.
So, Albert, Jen, Josh and Anya will be taking part in the live catwalk elimination show this Friday and facing the public vote. But as usual you can vote to save your favourite and keep them in the competition.

Sunday 29th October, 8:00pm
Last week’s tasks were all about being individual, but this week it’s all about working in pairs. After the departure of models Kerrie and James in the live catwalk-off, the remaining models got down to some couples work.
As elimination day loomed, nominated models James, Waz, Kerrie and Anya prepared themselves to face the runway and the public. After some last minute tips from catwalk producer Lee Lapthorne, the models got to see the elimination catwalk for the very first time. Little did they know, but their fate would be decided in their house, as hidden away was a spectacular catwalk area.
In addition to having to compete in a walk-off, the models would have to use props in the Marie Antoinette themed catwalk show. The four nominated models were understandably feeling shocked, nervous and scared about what lie ahead of them. Away from the stress of the live catwalk show rehearsals, the other models were going about their day at a more relaxed pace. Upstairs in the task room, they were familiarising themselves with the downward dog and tree pose as they enjoyed a Yoga session.
But downstairs things got even more stressful for the rehearsing models. They were busy honing their fencing skills ahead of one of the runway walks. For James, however, it wasn’t quite the cutting edge of fashion he expected and he was having difficultly getting to grips with the swords. As the models took their newly learnt sword skills to the catwalk, the remaining models were enjoying more ‘me’ time in the spa with some facials. And after a day of preening, the six safe models chose their clothes for the show and were led to the catwalk area for the walk-off.
It was show time and stripped down to just their underwear; the models performed a cake-walk on the catwalk, posed with dogs and then finally faced the public vote. Waz and Anya were over the moon to be sent back in to the house, but for James and Kerrie, their dreams of becoming supermodels were over and they made their way home.
As a new day dawned, the models made an early start and headed off to their assignments. The location, some stables in Kent, the task to work in pairs and with horses. Alan Gelati was the photographer for the shoot, which had a rich girl meets stable hand theme. The models needed to convey intimacy and emotion.
With Josh and Marianne getting ever closer in the house, it was easy for them to create chemistry in front of the camera. But it was the partnership of Waz and Sennait that impressed the photographer the most. Shoots over, the couple were treated to a picnic in the stables and again Josh and Marianne grew closer.
Back at the house it was game time. Using pictures of their fellow models body parts, the boys had to create their perfect woman, while the girls had to make their ideal man. Most of the boys opted for a mix of all of the girls, but Waz just settled for the whole Marianne.
Game over, it was time for the models to get to bed. But it wasn’t long before the boys realised that one of them was missing. Luke and Marianne had snuck outside to spend some more quality time alone. Finally returning to the boys’ bedroom, Luke was met with a bombardment of questions about his rendezvous. But he refused to kiss and tell.

Friday 27th October, 8:30pm
James and Kerrie have both been eliminated from the competition after you decided that they cannot be made in to supermodels.
It was crunch time in the Make Me A Supermodel house tonight. And after the very first live catwalk-off, involving Waz, James, Kerrie and Anya, the dreams of one boy and one girl were shattered.
Each week, the panel of experts decide on four models who they feel aren’t up to supermodel standard. Those models are then forced to go head-to-head in a live catwalk show in front of the panel and an audience. Tonight Fearne Cotton hosted the first of these fantastic events, which saw James and Kerrie leaving the catwalk and the competition for good.
Rachel Hunter said that the four nominees had emotionally and physically pushed themselves during this last week. And despite the four models feeling extremely nervous, they all managed to complete three magnificent catwalk shows.
The theme of the night was Marie Antoinette’s boudoir and the shows encompassed all of the tasks the models have had to complete this last week. Lingerie, animals and food.
Yesterday in the house, Perou put the models through an endurance test. It was the morning after the spin the bottle game which resulted in Waz and Kerrie falling out and with tempers already frayed, the models were best pleased to discover that they had to pose with a range of nasty animals. Among the caged nasties were a Tarantula, Cockroaches and a Scorpion. Anya has a phobia and collapsed, but managed to finally complete the task with her fellow models.
Following a hairy day inside the house, Waz attempted to apologise to Kerrie, but his apology was not accepted. The models all then got an early night ahead of the catwalk elimination show.
The Military look was the mini-theme of the first catwalk-off of the night. With all four models in tights and knee high boots, they locked swords before taking their turn on the runway. Kerrie and Waz received unanimous positive comments from the panel.
Catwalk number two was based on Marie Antoinette’s boudoir – full of lace. In just their underwear, the models once again hit the catwalk. Carrying cakes, they seductively fed cake to their partner when they hit the bottom of the catwalk. Hot stuff.
With the tension really mounting, it was time for the third and final walk-off of the night. This was the biggest challenge of them all as animals were involved. All models were in massive wigs, with the girls carrying little dogs and the boys walking them on leads. All four models looked amazing.
With James, Waz, Kerrie and Anya doing all they could to maintain their place in the competition, it was down to you, the audience to shatter the dreams of two of them. Waz and Anya were sent back in to the house, but unfortunately, after receiving the least amount of votes, James and Kerrie were put out of Make Me A Supermodel.
So now only eight models remain, but remember, there can only be one winner.

Thursday 26th October, 8pm
The tension in the model house soared as the bitchiness reached a whole new level. And despite some snogging amongst the models, the house remained divided.
The models were woken early to head off for their day’s task. The boys had an editorial shoot for Attitude, the biggest selling gay magazine. The shoots will be on the pages in a month’s time, so they have to impress in this assignment.
As they made their way across town to get styled for their gay shoot, the girls were busy in the task room preparing for their big task. They were doing a beauty shoot for Glamour magazine. The emphasis is on the face in a beauty shoot and for this assignment the girls were blowing bubbles with gum. But while they were blowing, they couldn’t help chewing over this week’s nominations.
The tension was hanging in the air as certain models felt that others weren’t working as hard as others. Anya is not happy about facing elimination this week, and sensing the tension Rachel Hunter stepped in to get to the bottom of the girls’ bitching. But it had to get worse before it got better. Anya and Marianne had an argument and Jen confessed that she feels that Marianne gets all of the praise. Rachel’s advice: Stop the bitching and go out there and prove yourself.
Over at the Attitude shoot, the boys met and received advice from one of the top models in the world, Danny Beachamp. And despite all of the boys putting in a good performance in front of the camera, giving strong, confident, camp poses, off camera they too had some bad words about their fellow models. The other boys think that James is further isolating himself from them. But the photographer had words that wouldn’t be music to Waz’s ears, as he divulged that James should stay over him.
Back at the house, while Anya cried over her argument with Marianne, the Swede was giving her side, saying that people are trying to break her because she is competition.
Bitching aside, it was back to work. The girls were called to the catwalk by Rachel and Lee Lapthorne. They had a real treat in store, lingerie modelling. It is important to learn to walk in lingerie as it requires the model to be sexy, pretty, confident and not trashy. Jen, the only size 12 model in the competition, started to cry at the idea, but in the end she grabbed the task with both hands. Rachel was really pleased with her and with Anya, who oozed sexiness on the catwalk. However, panelist Rachel admitted that Kerrie has to pull it together before Friday and that Sennait is becoming irritating.
Next day, it’s another early morning and all the models are taken to a photo gallery in the uber trendy Hoxton for their next assignment. The shoot, was theatrical and all of the models threw themselves in to it and really enjoyed it. But no day is complete without an argument and Jen and Marianne had another round of she said, she said while the boys again moaned about James and their dislike of Kerrie.
It’s tough being a work of art, so the models were treated to a night out at a trendy bar. And, when they returned home, the party didn’t stop. The models started a game of truth or dare which resulted in Marianne snogging both Jen and Kerrie. Later that night, the models played spin the bottle, but a big argument between Kerrie and Waz kicked off and ended up dividing the house.
Tensions are mounting by the day, but tomorrow night another two models will be leaving the competition.
The panel has chosen four models who have shown the least amount of promise. Waz, James, Kerrie and Anya – one boy and one girl will be eliminated on tomorrow night’s live catwalk show. Now it’s up to you to decide who stays. Vote to save you favourite

Tuesday 24th October, 8pm
The models were woken early and while the girls headed down for a session with personal trainer Gengis, the boys headed off to their first major photo shoot.
The destination was an exclusive gentleman’s club and the photographer was Robert Astley Sparke who has shot for Elle, GQ and Tatler. Make Me A Supermodel stylist Karen Binns was on hand to create the look for the shoot. The style was rich, well off, spoilt gentlemen and some of the boys quickly settled in to their roles.
As the boys were coming over all sophisticated across town, back at the model house the girls headed to the task room to meet stylist Gail Rinkoff. Their first challenge was to put a whole look together in the theme of masculine tailoring.
The girls made their way to the clothing racks where their aim was to mix masculine clothing with femininity to get an androgynous look. Anya managed to get the look spot on and Jen also looked fab, but Kerrie struggled and ended up getting in a sulk about her effort. Jen shows her concern, but Kerrie doesn’t appreciate it and a girlie spat ensues.
Back at the gentleman’s club in the heart of London, while James was settling in to the shoot, the other boys discussed how James was continuing to isolate himself from them.
And although James thought his shoot went really well, the photographer was not as impressed. Albert took a while to relax in to his shoot and Tandy didn’t mince her words with Waz when she told him to be confident, which he managed to do.
Still in their androgynous clothing, the girls were taken for a drink with panellist and photographer, Perou. They are more than a week in to the competition now and Perou made it clear that he thinks they are not putting in enough effort. Perou singled out Kerrie in particular and set her a personal challenge of being happy even when she’s not.
With both the girls and boys back at the house, Luke reads out what tomorrow has in store for the models. Jen, Waz, Sennait and James were going to be put under huge pressure as presenters on live shopping channel iBuyTV. While, Marianne, Josh, Anya, Luke, Kerrie and Albert would be fighting it out for two lead roles in an anti-knife campaign commercial. It was the models last chance to shine before the elimination on Friday, so they all headed off for an early night.
During their tasks, some of the models shine, while some failed to impress. At 5.30am, the models participating in the commercial headed off to meet director Steve Earls. Bleary eyed, they learn their lines and perform. Anya and Luke really impressed and were chosen as the lead roles.
On the other side of town, the remaining models were taking their shot on live TV selling a product. Jen was outstanding and would have been given a job, but Sennait’s nerves got the better of her.
Back at the anti-knife campaign, it was time for filming. Anya and Luke threw themselves in to their roles, but Marianne was not putting in any effort in her supporting role.
Back at the house, after the day’s events, it was time for the panel to put another four models up for elimination. It’s two weeks since the models embarked on their journey to supermodel stardom and while some have risen to the challenge, some have crumbled.
This week Waz, James, Anya and Kerrie have failed to impress the judges and will be forced to take part in a live catwalk elimination on Friday and to face the public vote.
The boy and girl with the least amount of votes on Friday will be eliminated during the live Catwalk Show. But who do you most want to save?

- The Show - 5 - Fish and Friction

Sunday 22nd October, 8pm
As a new day dawned for the ten remaining models, the girls were given a very early start and were whisked off to a secret location in London. The tasks the models have to undergo are getting increasingly challenging, as they are catapulted out of their safety zones. For the girls, their challenge came in the form of cold, wet, smelly, dead fish. They arrived on location at Billingsgate Fish Market, ready for their shoot.
For vegan Marianne, this is her worst nightmare come true, but the models are specifically set assignments that test their performance in increasingly awkward situations. On the girls’ shoot were top photographer Lars H and stylist to the stars Gareth Scourfield. After being styled and dressed, the girls get down and dirty amongst the fish. Despite getting a new hair style earlier in the week, model Jen was given a brown wig for her shoot. Photographer Lars revealed that Jen’s stomach and upper thighs are a problem area, but if she toned them up she would be an amazing model. He also revealed that Kerrie is the most immature, but handled the shoot well. One model who was not handling it well though, was Marianne. Her dislike for the location was apparent in her shoot and the team commented on her lack of communication.
There is no rest for the wicked in the model house, and while the girls were out getting fishy, the boys were put through an early morning work-out. Fresh from their exercise, the boys were then set a make-up challenge. Under the watchful eye of celebrity make-up artist Yvette Redmond, the boys turned their hand to make-up application. In pairs, the models were given fifteen minutes to create either a Rock or New Romantic look on their partner.
Having perfected their make-up techniques, Yvette gave the boys another style challenge. They had to style themselves in an outfit in an exercise to prove how adaptable they could be.
Back from Billingsgate, but not smelling too fresh, the girls joined the boys for dinner. And keeping with the aquatic theme, the models weren’t impressed to discover a platter of sushi.
The following day and it was down to panelist Rachel to set the models an advertising task. Being the face of a brand is one of the biggest money earners in the business. The models paired up and had thirty minutes to learn the lines for an advert. Josh and Sennait found it very hard to take direction from each other and ended up arguing, which didn’t go unnoticed. Rachel commented that Sennait was insecure about the task and the model actually went on to give a very disappointing performance. Jen and Luke, however, really excelled in the task.
Panellist Perou was then on hand to push the models further out of their comfort zone, forcing them to advertise food they dislike. Among the goods were kidneys, pig noses, liver and black pudding. The models struggled but managed to complete the challenge.
But modelling aside, cracks in the house started to appear. Marianne and James are feeling increasingly isolated from the rest of the models and the friction between Sennait and Josh got to such a point that they ended up coming to blows.

- The Show - 4 - Elimination Surprise
-
Friday 20th October, 8pm
After the boys were treated to breakfast in bed, by the scantily clad girls, it was straight back down to business.
The girls were put through their paces, with another training session on the catwalk and among their critics this time, were Noel Stewart, a well known Milliner, a stylist and a top magazine Editor. Little did they know, but the girls were about to find themselves in a tight spot as they were given corsets to lace up and ordered to give them life on the catwalk. Struggling with ill fitting shoes, Kerrie finally lost her patience on the runway and it didn’t go unnoticed.
The training was then stepped us, as the girls were given elaborate hats to work on the catwalk. But finally, after a tough morning, it was Marianne and Sennait who once again impressed the most.
Meanwhile, in South London, the boys donned their leotards for a ballet lesson at the Royal Academy of Dance. Instructed by Thomas Edur, from the English National Ballet, the boys pranced and twirled. Jono confessed that the lesson was harder than it looked, but there was one boy who came on leaps and bounds. Luke did amazingly well and successfully tried to grasp what movement was all about.
Models often have to deal with weird catwalk situations, so the next task for the girls, was to strut their stuff in front of some of the most opinionated men in London – cabbies!
Forced to change in the back of a cab, the girls hit the cabbie catwalk and struck a pose at the end. The taxi drivers were very impressed with the models, but Marianne just ranked as their highest.
Fresh from their ballet assignment, Devon readied the boys for their next task. Keeping with the on-running stripping theme, the boys were handed speedos and one by one, Catwalk teacher Lee put them through their paces. Their runway session was then given a twist – maintaining the essence of looking cool, the boys had to work props such as teddy bears, balls, whips and flags. Albert was named the coolest person on the catwalk as he was focused and showed that he could definitely become a supermodel.
As a reward for all of their hard work, the boys were treated to a night out while the girls got a great night in. The girls were allowed to choose one boy to enjoy champagne, a chocolate fountain and a gossip with them so they opted for a very happy James. The boys were also allowed to choose one girl to join them, so Katie headed out for dinner, drinks and Go-Carting with them.
The next day, it was back to work with a session with acting trainer Kate. After that, it was straight on to a master class in expression and character with photographer Perou, where the models were asked to produce a range of expressions for the camera.
But then it was time for the competition to get serious. Each week the panel must chose 4 models that have shown the least potential. Last time, Katie, Marianne, Josh and Jono were the unlucky models and now it was about to be game over for two of them. After a panel debate, the four models were summoned and Rachel delivered the news that Jono and Katie would not be made in to supermodels and were being eliminated.

- The Show - 3 - New Look Models Revealed
-
Thursday 19th October, 8pm
The models were taken to top hair salons for major make-overs. Richard Scorer, hairdresser to Kate Moss and Charlotte Church, was responsible for giving the girls a new image that could turn them in to potential supermodels. Jen was given a more expensive look – her curls were gone and in their place, a shorter, sleeker look. Sennait gained long hair extensions, Anya was given a re-weave, Marianne’s hair was turned in to a much shorter elfin style, Kerrie was stripped of her dark hair and goth image and Katie, whose hair was the most unpopular, was given a big chop leaving her with a funky crop.
But in the girls’ salon, happy customers were thin on the ground and as the hair hit the floor, the tears began to flow. Elsewhere in London though, the mood in the boy’s salon was much happier. Unlike the girl camp, the boys were all very happy with their new looks. And with their sculptured and styled hair, they went off to join Dylan Jones for further male grooming. To complete the models' incredible transformations, they were each given a new outfit to wear. But after three days in the house, they were brought down to earth with a bump, as they were then called to the panel room for the first time.
Following their appraisals, all of the models apart from Marianne, Katie, Jono and Josh were sent happily back up stairs. But for the remaining four, the news that they had to work harder came as a shock.
The following morning, the eight models who did well, made their way to their first casting call. For the first time it was more than just a task, it was a job, as one boy and one girl would be chosen to appear in an ad campaign for Duck and Cover. After a day of shooting, Sennait and Waz were chosen for the job and will therefore be receiving a great deal of exposure. Across London, Marianne, Katie, Jono and Josh had a tough day ahead of them. Catwalk producer Lee Lapthorne put them through their paces in an endurance test. In front of the gazing public, the models were forced to use the Millennium Bridge as their catwalk, as they walked in just leotards. With all the models back at the house, their first location shots were revealed in the house photo gallery.
The competition is really starting to hot up and all twelve models are desperate to stay. But there can only be one winner.

Tuesday 17th October, 8pm
Dressed in just underwear and raincoats, the girls experience their first photo-shoot. While all of the girls performed well in front of the camera, Sennait was the model who really shone for the photographer. Back at the house, the boys took to the catwalk – but their walking was made harder by the fact that they were wearing heels and a whole host of fancy dress clothing.
The next day it was the boys who were doing the stripping off and the girls who were brought to heel. After an early morning wake up by their gym instructor, the girls were put through a punishing workout. A much unmotivated Kerrie started the session by brushing her hair, she then burst in to tears when she began to feel the burn, but finally she got in to the hardcore kick-boxing and aerobic workout.
Next up for the girls was catwalk training with top catwalk producer Lee Lapthorne. After some basic walking, the girls were really put to the test – after taking to the catwalk in three and then five inch heels, they were forced to creep along in ten inch high heels! The last to stumble was the winner and Marianne and Kerrie shuffled their way to steal the crown. Sarah Leon gave the girls a lesson in style and costume – in pairs they styled their partner before hitting Tower Bridge for their first outside shoot.
While the girls played dress up, the boys got sweaty with a game of football and a smouldering locker room shoot. After a quick game of three a-side, with Devon as the Ref, the boys stripped down to their underwear for a surprise shoot. James produced some impressive shots, while Albert was told he has the most work to do.
Back at the house, Perou showed the models the fruits of their 'unitard' shoot, when he opened the house photo-gallery.
